Have you wondered how you can get the best value for your time when preparing for the PMP exam? Does the idea of studying in isolation for a professional exam fill you with dread? Does spending hours with groups where large portions of your valuable time may be wasted on subjects of low priority to you frustrate you?

With over a rapidly growing number certified Project Management Professionals (PMP’s) world-wide, certification by the Project Management Institute (PMIâ) is increasingly sought after. Passing an exam of 200 multiple choice questions is a prerequisite for successful completion. Exam content is based on the “Project Management Professional (PMP) Role Delineation Study” conducted by PMI, and project management knowledge highlighted in PMI’s “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOKÔ Guide).

Everyone preparing for the PMP exam has different needs. The PMP Preparation Coaching approach combines proven study materials with a tailored coaching/training approach to meet your specific instructional needs.

Exam Preparation Materials

PMP preparation study materials provided to you include:

  • 200 questions covering all PMBOK Guide knowledge areas and professional responsibility

Answers for questions including:

  • An explanation of the rationale behind the correct answer
  • References to textbooks that provide further information, generally taken from the PMP Exam Review Pack available through PMI.

Study Guide that includes:

  • Lists of key topics from each PMBOK™ knowledge area
  • Summary coverage of key topics such as WBS, earned value, estimating etc
  • Glossary of key terms beyond those included in the PMBOK Guide
  • Bibliography of books useful as reference during your studies
  • Specific hints and tips on preparing for and sitting the PMP exam.

A copy of “The Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK), available from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) is required.

One-On-One Coaching Approach

Personalised coaching is offered to you on a 1-on-1 basis. In registering for PMP Preparation Coaching you will receive the preparation materials identified above and 8 hours of personal coaching. You determine how you use the coaching time in blocks of one or more hours at a time. Examples of options include:

  • One hour after completing each of the eight modules
  • A whole day of coaching after completing all practice questions
  • Two half-days of training
  • A half-day and four one-hour sessions

You choose how you wish to use your time and set appointments to suit your time frames, study habits, goals and specific needs. Coaching appointments are conducted at Harrison International Ltd business premises.

You have 6 months from the time of registering to use the 8 hours of coaching time.
