Introduction:

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is the premier tool of the project manager. It enables thorough scope definition and planning and is the basis for a myriad of other planning functions. It enables goals to be broken down into achievable, well defined packages of work, and leads to sound execution, control and close out of the project. This workshop introduces theory and applies it with practical case study in exploring the purpose, development and applications of the Work Breakdown Structure.
